Meet the team

Why wait for an opportunity to come along when you can create it yourself? That’s what prompted us to form ShyDog Productions. We are a group of like-minded creatives from various countries with backgrounds in acting, directing, writing, cinematography and music.

Each of us is different, but we are all united by our passion to create fun, engaging productions for film, TV, web and theatre. And have a ton of fun along the way!

We are ShyDog Productions, but feel free to call us Bart, Bobby, Bryony, Clint, Daniel, Francis, Lucy and Vincent.

Francis Cox

Francis is a British native and has lived in Amsterdam for 24 years. He has been a professional actor for nine years, studying with several teachers. He has appeared in TV shows, commercials, corporate videos and a number of short films including Chasing Windmills and Shiro. TV work includes Zeven Kleine Criminelen and Hunter Street. Theatre work includes The International Pastime, Treading the Abyss, Antigone and a one-man show, Diary of a Madman.

Bryony Cole

Bryony is a British actress and writer from Sheffield, who trained at drama school in London. She has appeared in feature films, short films and theatre productions, and is also a voice actress. Film work includes Red Heart, Blank Face, You Listen, Always and Talking With Angels. She is currently starring in the upcoming film, An Unveiling, about a conflicted artist in Amsterdam. Theatre work includes Becky Shaw, Antigone, The Ingenious Mind in collaboration with Toneelgroep Amsterdam, WET, The Rules of Inflation and One Man, Two Guvnors. She co-wrote and produced, WET, by Screw Productions, which has had successful runs in London and Amsterdam. Bryony is the Co-Director of Screw Productions and Actors Anonymous.

Lucy Brownhill

Lucy is a British actress and voice artist who splits her time between Amsterdam and London. She graduated from Drama Studio London in 2016 and also trained in screen acting at the Bristol Old Vic theatre school. She has worked in theatre; in both touring productions and West End venues, film and extensively in voice over, narrating over 20 audiobooks.

Daniel Iriarte

Daniel is a Peruvian artist based in Italy. He is a writer and director for theatre and a visual artist. After studying performing arts and literature, he worked as assistant director and stage manager for several theatre companies, international festivals and marketing agencies. He has also worked as a clown and improv teacher at Pataclaun Theatre School. Assistant director credits include Rocio Tovar, La Nave Producciones, Margherita Ortolani. Directing and writing credits include Jonás- Viaje de un dia cuaquiera, ¡Oh Por Dios!, Indicios, Femina, and Sabor a chocolate

Bobby Makariev

Bobby is an actor from Bulgaria and has lived in The Netherlands for over 10 years. As well as working as a lead actor at the Amsterdam Dungeon for three years, he has appeared in various theatre productions, short films, feature films and commercials. His most recent credits include the independent feature film Red Heart, Blank Face, the short films The Musketeers of Pig Alley and You Listen, Always, and commercials for Dirk van den Broek and Perfetti van Melle. Stage productions include The International Pastime, The Importance of Being Earnest and Buried Child, all in collaboration with various theatre groups in Amsterdam. Bobby is also a director and writer, having directed three theatre plays, including Closer, The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon and Pop-Turd, which he also co-wrote.

Vincent Plu

Vincent is a writer and director. Since graduating from the Utrecht School of Arts in 2017, he has worked on many films as producer, first AD, art director and other roles. His work includes The Underachiever, Beard Brothers, Shiro, and the acclaimed 12 Angry Arabs, which he wrote. His latest film The Audition is currently being shown at festivals. Through his films, Vincent hopes to promote diversity both in front of the camera and behind it.

Clint Davis

Clint is a cinematographer with over 10 years of film-making experience. He recently moved to Amsterdam from Dubai to further his dreams of making life as cinematic as possible. Clint takes a professional, personable and calm approach to his work and does not compromise on creativity and Hollywood-standard quality. His work includes campaigns for Nike, Tag Heuer, Reebok and other well known brands.

Bart Delissen

Bart is a composer, producer and voice casting director for films and games, and a lecturer at the Utrecht University of Arts. After learning to play the oboe at age eight, he spent his teenage years becoming more involved in composition, film and games, resulting in his story-driven early compositions. He studied Composition for the Media in Hilversum, and obtained an MA in Creative Design for Digital Cultures. He has composed and orchestrated music for projects like Annie MG, Foeksia de Miniheks, Bounden and the 1914-1918 Game Series. As part of ShyDog Productions, he is responsible for the music and additional sound design and post-production tasks.
